One of the city’s longest-standing tuition-free public charter school system in Detroit, UPAMS is a historic building that Resendes Design Group revitalized through historic renovation and preservation. A new front entry way was added, the classrooms were renovated to incorporate a contemporary style alongside the historic brickwork, the dining hall has been recreated, and the gymnasium was also redone as a previous project of Resendes Design Group's.
