our story
Our story is our client's story.  We invite you to browse through our project experience to learn more about our history through the stories and experiences of our clients.  RDG encourages all potential clients to speak with our current clients for they are truly our best advocates.

our vision

Our vision is to transform our client’s expectations into distinctive architecture that is a pleasure to experience and operates to effectively achieve its programming goals.  Creating meaningful work derived through rigorous action and reaction, not to the notion of a preconceived idea but rather to a kind of unfolding that reveals and exposes.

sustainable design

RDG incorporates sustainable design principles in all projects as a matter of good design practice, and has a long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship. RDG’s prominent portfolio includes many new, renovation and/or adaptive reuse projects in Southeast Michigan, that embody principles of sustainable site location, energy conservation, water efficiency, and indoor air quality.

Principal Raqueeb Albaari, AIA, LEED AP leads the sustainable design studio at RDG.

In June 2010, we were honored with the Warm Training Center's prominent "2010 Champion of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Building Practices."  RDG was the only for-profit company to be honored along with Habitat for Humanity Michigan; Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters Paula Cathcart and Gloria Rivera; and John Saver, Supervisor of Technical Assistance for the Bureau of Energy Systems at DELEG.  To learn more about WARM, visit
